Summertime, and the living is easy... famous lyrics that describe the way we all hope the next few months will be. This is a season for relaxation so that's our focus this month.
MOVE breathe easy, move well_

... and sleep better, think more clearly and generally feel more relaxed. Did you know that some experts think that 9 out of 10 of us don't breathe properly? Did you know there is even a way to breathe properly?

Very few people realise that changing and improving the way we breathe can have quite an impact on how we feel. Estelle has written an article over on Living Naturally to explain the benefits. More...
THINK«being positive_
It's summer, the best time of the year for many of us. We don't feel cold, the air is fresher and we can get outdoors. However, as always life can get in the way. A lot of people talk about the power of positive thinking. It can really be a bonus to try and look at what goes on around us with a dash of salt, but it's often harder to change your mind-set. If things are getting you down, consider taking some time out. Meditation, yoga or simply finding a place to hide in the garden with a trashy novel and a cool drink can help push all the dramas back into perspective.
We'd also suggest that nothing works quite so well as massage, and our lovely Jan is here to take take care of you! We have gift vouchers for a half hour massage at £25 or £40 for a hour.

OK... so most of you know that both Estelle and webmaster Beth are Aussies and what do Aussies do when it's hot? Barbecue, what else? This is, without doubt the easiest way to knock out a quick, healthy meal. Throw a pack of good quality sausages on the grill, wrap some small potatoes or chunks of sweet potato in foil, drizzle with oil and pop around the coals. Chop some salad veg and you're done. If you have a little more time try these:
Aussie BBQ favourites
• Herbed fish: chop parsley and basil finely, squeeze a lemon or lime and mix together with olive oil, salt and pepper. Marinade salmon fillets for an hour, then barbecue for 3 minutes each side.
• Prawn skewers: thread 6 prawns on a bamboo skewer, pushing slices of onion, peppers or baby tomatoes between. Make a paste of garlic, oil, chilli and basil and brush on before cooking.
• Chocolate bananas: peel back the skin from a banana on one side only, slit the banana lengthwise, then insert dark chocolate squares into the slit. Fold the skin back in place, wrap the banana in foil and pop on the dying embers of the BBQ until the chocolate melts.
