The recovery
path
At the practice –––>
You’ve had an accident, illness, surgery; spent far too much time with the GP, the hospital, the surgeon and then finally… were good to go home. It all seemed to take forever and it might still feel that way. You were told that recovery takes time and it really does. What most people forget is that all the years spent compensating for a problem before it’s fixed will create a whole host of other stuff to straighten out once you have recovered from trauma or surgery. So what do you do to move along the recovery path just a bit faster? There are options and, of course, chiropractic is one that can be used in conjunction with whatever your current recovery plan is.
The first step is to book in with us and give us a full account of what happened, what was done to resolve your problem and what follow-up guidance you were given. We can then assess what we can do that will complement and aid your move towards better health.
You might have found that lifestyle factors are also changed. Perhaps you can only sleep on one side now causing additional pain, discomfort or disruption to your sleep. Being adjusted can help relieve the pressure and pain in each area by addressing joint mobility, muscle strength and overall body function.
Another option might be a massage, as this will focus on specific muscle groups that have been damaged during your trauma. Here at the practice, we have a great team to assist you in your recovery!
It’s nearly Easter, and we are kicking off the festivities with one of our famous colouring competitions. Apart from the usual frivolity and fun, there will again be prizes for the winner in each of our three different age groups from the best chocolate-maker known to man, Gareth James Chocolatier. Bring the kids in, they might be a winner, just like Sheila last year… that’s her beautiful artwork on the left.
AND finally, our love and congratulations to
Tina and Ross who have welcomed a beautiful bouncy boy called Cillian!
