December 2023 - news                                                                     Home

Funny, isn’t it? One minute it’s sunny and warm, beach holidays on the horizon and then,
like a slap on the nose from the dog, we’re counting the days until Christmas. The thing is,
that happens every year – yes, every single one. But we still never seem quite ready for it.

It’s all in the planning…

December can be a huge celebration or a season of happy madness. Here at the practice, it’s a bit
of both. First, we have our much loved Toy Day, when we work doubly hard to look after everyone and at the same time, manage to dress up as elves (or in our pyjamas) and raise some much needed care packages for those who might be struggling. As always, thank you in advance for your donations for both the Salvation Army and the Bay Foodbank.

Toy Day has been in planning for quite some time, (pretty much since the last one!) and over the year we have had a few changes at the practice. Jan Ware has always promised to go off traveling and has now fulfilled her plans. We have some new superstar team members – Paul is training with us as scribe (he is currently in his first year at Chiropractic College) while Sally will be taking up the front desk challenge alongside Lynn.

Estelle has been learning more about stress and trauma and the nervous system and is looking forward to putting her new knowledge into practice, while Jo has planned for time away with her family in their campervan.

Are your Christmas Day plans ready? If you’re still shopping, please think about supporting our wonderful local stores. Shopping at small local businesses keeps our communities alive.

Wishing you the merriest of times this Christmas!
