Hello

2026!!

Life is full of interesting little facts…

Did you know that the winter solstice, our shortest day of the year, is actually only one second shorter than the day before? So December 22, 2025 was a second longer and January 1st, 2026 is 10 seconds longer. And that’s 10 seconds more daylight for you to get outside and enjoy the New Year!

OK… so this light-hearted bit of trivia is really our way of saying that now, more than ever, getting outside into the fresh air should be a priority for us all. No excuses about the dark and cold – our bodies are designed to move, whether it’s running, standing, dancing or simply wandering quietly along the beach at sunrise on an icy winter day. Movement improves and maintains our health and even acts as a stress relief, especially important after our rather indulgent December!

Take advantage of those extra moments of daylight and get outdoors. This year we are going to help you along the way with links to our sister site, Livingnaturally.life, which is full of information on looking after yourself through what you eat, how you move, your thinking and actions.

Of course, that doesn’t mean you have to everything that’s wonderfully tempting. Take a look at this page on Living Naturally where we suggest a few easy ways to make healthy sweet treats!

As ever, we have extend our deepest thanks to all our lovely clients and friends for your generosity on our Annual Toys and Food for Adjustment Day. Both the Salvation Army and the Bay Foodbank were delighted with the response as, no doubt, were rather a lot of children who had something special to open on Christmas Day.
