What’s that old adage – you wait ages for a bus
and then two come along at once?
At the practice –––>
I have worked in sports, health, fitness and wellbeing for over 24 years.
I graduated with a Degree in Sports Science in 2000 and then, in 2006, gained further qualifications and experience in massage therapy and sports massage. I was a lecturer at Newcastle College but always wanted to set up my own business – it’s called High Tide Adventure Co. – and encompasses my passion for the outdoors and outdoor activities.
I have benefitted greatly from the personal development that these can provide so understand the physical, mental and wellbeing benefits of having regular massages. I am looking forward to working with clients at the practice and helping them achieve their goals. I have lived in Whitley Bay with my family for over 26 years now and enjoy taking part in a range of sports and getting out into nature and challenging myself.
On the subject of new team members, if you haven’t already met Zoe, you will soon as she is currently working with us as a scribe. Estelle has known her since the day she was born (literally!) and loves that she has seen her grow up. Zoe won’t be here every day as she is also studying for her A levels. We wish her luck!
We are definitely busy with announcements this month! We are now selling a range of Opti15 Supplements that are complimentary to our work and healthcare recommendations. Opti15 are CBD patches and creams formulated for pain relief and improving sleep. They are 100% natural and made in the UK. Products include muscle relief patches, sleep patches and creams for pain.
Well, behind the scenes that was happening at the practice. At the same time Michael Cooper joined us as a massage therapist, we knew we’d be announcing that Wayne Dobson would also join, completing our new team! We’re proud to now have two top-class massage therapists with us.
We introduced Michael in January’s news, so here’s Wayne to tell you a bit about himself:
