Change is a good thing, right? Sometimes not, often we are reticent to address it but right now, in our opinion, it really is. Moving on, or up, rearranging or adapting can refresh our minds, improve our resilience and present us with exciting challenges that break old and tested routines.
As some of you already know, Estelle is adding some new skill sets to her career and life in general. To start, she will soon be spending a little time up in Scotland to continue her commitment to chiropractic by passing on knowledge to a new set of trainees.
Alongside that, she is studying to be a Life Coach. In a similar way
to mentoring her on site assistants, she will be able to help and encourage people to move onwards with their plans and ambitions, and be able to achieve the successes they aspire to.
While not everyone needs to shake up their lives, making changes to regular routines and habits is a really good thing for your brain and nervous system. Learning an instrument or language helps fire new connections in your brain or simply doing an everyday task with your non-dominant hand keeps your brain healthy. The most important thing for a healthy brain is movement so getting out of the house
and going for a walk or to the gym every day are also good habits
to include.

At the practice —->
Meanwhile, back at the practice we are delighted to introduce our new massage therapist, Michael Atkin. We feel he is a great fit for the team. There is a review of his past and interests here. Michael is currently with us on Monday and Thursday afternoons. Once he is back to University, he will be working on Wednesday mornings.
